Le regretté Chadwick Boseman, disparu en août 2020, est nommé dans 4 catégories : meilleur acteur pour Le Blues de Ma Rainey, meilleur acteur dans un second rôle pour Da 5 Bloods, et pour l'ensemble du casting de ces deux films, une belle reconnaissance.
Du côté des séries, les favoris sont Schitt’s Creek, The Crown et Ozark (une nouvelle fois !), qui dominent les débats avec 5 nominations chacune.
